Second round of Chemo is off to a good start, but it was a long day. I started the treatments at 9:30 AM and didn't finish until 3:30 PM.
I got three different Chemo infusions, along with other infusions to help with side effects. They monitored me very closely to make sure I didn't have any bad effects from the new treatments. After one infusion they even waited an hour before giving me the next one. All went well.
I got to spend time reading, played some solitaire, and beat Gary at 2 games of Cribbage :) . We also got a visit from the hospital Chaplin. He was a very nice man, and we had a good visit.
When we came over the pass on Thursday there was fresh snow on the trees at the side of the road. It was snowing lightly, and was beautiful. On the way we noticed that Chinook Pass was also open now, so we went up to check it out. It looked good, and actually it didn't have as much snow as we thought it would.
We also got to spend Thursday night with some of our friends, and another couple came over too. We had a good visit, good food, and I also got some of my favorite ginger cookies to bring home. :)
Once again, thank you all for your prayers for me along this journey; they are truly appreciated.
May God bless you,
Marilyn
